Bernie Stewart has 38 years clinical and 36 years teaching experience. He has taught his courses in 43 states and two foreign countries, including at State Ophthalmology & Optometry Academies, Medical Schools, and Community Colleges. In addition to this, Bernie developed and taught a one year refraction program at Seattle Central Community College in Seattle, Washington.

Bernie also has a private practice at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, where he specializes in complex contact lens fittings and is a consultant for ophthalmology.
